Jail Service Coordinator


Stayin' Out Project seeks individual that will have primary responsibility for delivery of all jail in-reach services in the Orange County Correctional Facility including: performing risk/needs assessments and delivering a cognitive-behavioral curriculum. Will lend support to Community Case Manager as necessary.  


Requirements include a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.  Strong command of psychoeducational processes a must with ability to establish rapport while maintaining strong professional boundaries.

Experience working with offender populations a huge plus. Salary 42K.

Community Based Prevention Specialist


Great opportunity for anyone who loves to work with people and wants to make an impact on the health of communities! 


Be part of a team that will develop and enhance community involvement in substance abuse prevention; assist in the building of community coalitions by providing information and trainings for the

prevention providers and coalitions throughout the Mid-Hudson region.


Familiarity in General Prevention, Community Mobilizations, the Strategic Prevention Framework and Risk and Protective Factors is preferred. 


Strong computer skills a must. Required knowledge in specific programs include: Power Point, Outlook and Photoshop. Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with co-workers and facilitating trainings is preferred.


College, CPP/CPS, CASAC/CASAC-T or work experience a plus. Bilingual a plus.


Five days a week with occasional evening meetings, totaling a 35-hour work week. Benefits package available. Ability to travel a must. Mileage reimbursed.
