Alternative to Incarceration program in OC seeking qualified person for assessment, referral, follow-up and Court advocacy of offenders needing chemical dependency treatment and other services, as well as providing therapeutic case managing. Field work required. 

 

CASAC or 4 yr deg w/rel exp & computer skills. Strong technical writing ability & reliable vehicle necessary.  Salary 38K + Benefits. EOE

Community Based Prevention Specialist - F/T

 

Be part of a team that will develop and enhance community involvement in substance abuse prevention; assist in the building of community coalitions by providing information and trainings for the prevention providers and coalitions throughout the Mid-Hudson region.

 

Familiarity in General Prevention, Community Mobilizations, the Strategic Prevention Framework and Risk and Protective Factors is preferred. Strong computer skills a must. Required knowledge in specific programs include: Power Point, Outlook and Photoshop. Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with co-workers and facilitating trainings is preferred.

 

College, CPP/CPS, CASAC/CASAC-T or work experience a plus. Bilingual a plus. Five days a week with occasional evening meetings, totaling a 35-hour work week. Benefits package available. Ability to travel a must. Mileage reimbursed.

Peer Engagement Specialist - F/T

 

Seeking compassionate motivated individual, responsible for the delivery of Peer Engagement Services throughout the Mid-Hudson Region. Must possess expertise with addiction and lived recovery experience, in order to respond to and become a resource/advocate for individuals facing challenges due to their substance use.  

Main job functions will be: connecting with individuals in various settings within a 2 hour timeframe from initial contact, referring individuals to treatment, providing education and information regarding addiction and helping individuals access treatment. Must understand service delivery systems and be able to effectively engage with individuals and other professionals within those systems.  

Schedule to be determined with on-call hours required. Benefits package available. Reliable transportation a must & mileage reimbursable. CRPA or CARC preferred.
