September is National Recovery Month.
In celebration of recovery month, The Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Council of Orange County staged its 10th Annual 5K Run/Walk September 12-20, 2020.
This year was a little different as our run was held VIRTUALLY!
Our hope is to bring awareness about the Recovery community and reduce the social stigma that so often surrounds the disease of addiction.
Recovery Month spreads the positive message that behavioral health is essential to overall health, that prevention works, treatment is effective and people can and do recover.
Thank you to all the participants in the 2020 Virtual Run for Recovery 5K run/walk!
We’d like to thank all of the 10th Annual Run/Walk for Recovery Sponsors!
